Kristján Guðmundsson‘s Drawing in Round Frame II (2015) consists of graphite and plexiglass that Guðmundsson made on the occasion of his exhibition “Works from 1972 to 1989 at i8 Gallery in 2015. Since the beginning of the 1970s, Guðmundsson has studied the basics of drawing and various materials that lie behind it, such as the paper, the pen and the line resulting in a wide-ranging art form, without ever deviating from the fundamentals of the method.
