This black and white photograph of the artist sitting on the toilet is one of the first photographic work by Gudmundsson that was originally implemented in the work Landslag/Selfportrait, shown in SÚM 1969, soon before the artist starting working his well-known photographic series, Situations. Guðmundsson made an edition of the photograph in conjuction with his 2010 exhibition of the Situations series at i8 Gallery.
